Store Policies

PROCESSING TIMES

Orders will be processed within one week or less of being placed, unless a delay is otherwise noted. Please keep in mind that this is a small shop and one-person show, and your patience with your order is appreciated. If you are curious about when your order will arrive, please wait for one week to pass before inquiring.

SHIPPING

To conserve resources and operate with efficiency, orders are usually dispatched only once or twice a week. A tracking number will be issued to you once the order has been shipped. Orders can be shipped worldwide to wherever the United States Postal Office, Fedex, or UPS will deliver. Please keep in mind that I am not responsible for packages once they leave my care, nor can I control how quickly they reach their destination. Transit times vary based on destination.

 

United States: 2-10 Estimated business days

Outside United States: 15-21 Estimated business days

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Since transit times vary widely by country, I am unable to provide accurate shipping times or guarantee tracking for destinations outside of the United States; the estimated transit times are simply estimations. The recipient is responsible for any customs fees or duties.

EU & UK ORDERS

As of July 1st, 2021, the European Union has made important changes concerning value-added-tax (VAT), which impact business exporting goods to recipients located in Europe. Please be aware that all recipients located in the UK & EU will be required to pay VAT and/or duties upon delivery as per regional law. I am not responsible for any customs/processing fees that may incur depending on your country's VAT laws; it is your responsibility to be aware of the laws, taxes, and fees that are required for receiving imported goods to your country. I do not charge for any applicable taxes or duties imposed by customs and revenue authorities based on the destination country. Payment of duties and/or taxes are responsibility of the recipient; I cannot control these fees, and I am not responsible for managing them on orders.

 

REFUNDS

Refunds will only accepted in the circumstance that your order arrives damaged and you do not wish to have a replacement issued. Please immediately send clear, visible photos of the damage with your order number to hello@saraheverettdesign.com. A full refund of the product will be issued if it is determined that the product was 1) shipped with a defect, or 2) damaged in transit. After a refund is approved, please return the damaged order to the address on the label. Shipping for the return is the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping charges will not be refunded. NOTE: This offer is only applicable for up to 14 days after you receive your order. After 14 days, no refunds for damage will be issued. Damage must be reported immediately.

EXCHANGES

Exchanges will only be accepted in the instance that your order arrives damaged or defected. Please immediately send clear, visible photos of the damage with your order number to hello@saraheverettdesign.com. A replacement of the product that was ordered will be issued if it is determined that the product was 1) shipped with a defect, or 2) damaged in transit. After an exchange is approved, please return the damaged order to the address on the label. Shipping for the return is the responsibility of the buyer; however, there will be no shipping charge for the replacement. Requests for different products or sizes will not be accommodated; your replacement will consist of the exact item you ordered. NOTE: This offer is only applicable for up to 14 days after you receive your order. After 14 days, no exchanges for damage will be issued. Damage must be reported immediately.

CANCELATIONS

Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled or refunded. However, I reserve the right to cancel an order for any reason; notably, for any party who has violated a policy, or who has acted difficult or unreasonable. Orders canceled from my end will be refunded in full.

EXPEDITED ORDERS

If you need to request that an order be processed quickly or need it delivered by a certain day, please contact me immediately prior to placing your order at hello@saraheverettdesign.com. Expedited service is not confirmed until 1) you receive a response email from me acknowledging that I can currently facilitate an expedited request and 2) you pay for the expedited process, which will be outlined in my response. Expedited costs will incur additional charges for both express shipping and a surcharge for rapid action on my part.

MISSING ORDERS

Once an order is handed off to the service carrier, it is no longer within my power to manage. If an order is delayed, mishandled by a delivery service, or stolen, it is solely your responsibility to contact the delivery service to file a claim and also a police report. I will not contact the service carrier or the police on your behalf. No refunds or replacements will be issued for orders that are marked as delivered by a service carrier.

A ONE-PERSON SHOW

Because this is a small shop, I am limited in what I can accommodate. If you are dissatisfied with an order, please reach out to me so that we can come to a resolution together. 

 

Please note that I cannot accommodate practices of free shipping, two-day shipping without expedited fees, taking losses on sales, giving away free products, contacting delivery personnel, or other such accommodations that big commerce and chain stores may be able to offer.

 

If you are requesting a refund or exchange, you are expected to return the original item you received.

 

In the instance of a dispute, I will do what is fair to both the buyer and myself as the artist and proprietor of this shop.

I reserve the right to cancel an order for any reason; notably, for any party who has violated a policy, or who has acted difficult or unreasonable.

 

Please manage your expectations when shopping small. I am very glad that you are here and are interested in my work; however, if you approach my shop with a "the customer is always right" attitude, I would encourage you to instead navigate to a large online retailer who may have the resources to accommodate your expectations.
